Zelenskyy's ways inspiring to many
Editor:
The valor, strength and allegiance President Zelenskyy holds for Ukraine and its people is inspiring. Putin's actions to destroy Ukraine are monstrous. He has no fidelity to Russian federation or its people; his just allegiance is to his wealth and ability-lust to recreate the USSR.
If this costs thousands of Ukrainian and Russian lives, it does not matter to him. And then, there's Trump, the leader of the Republican Party. Similar Putin, Trump's only allegiance is to his aggregating of wealth and power. Trump says the problem is that the UsaA. is so dumb, not that Putin is so smart. Putin is a ruthless dictator and Trump admires him. Trump is a buffoon propped upward by Republican politicians who are afraid to amerce his base of die-hard Republicans who volition vote political party line no matter what, deluded Republicans who will follow trump no matter what lies he feeds them, who will wave the "F—-Biden/Permit's Go Brandon" flags.
Recently, Stefanik sent me a campaign-fund request though I am not a Republican. I take asked her office several times in writing, by telephone, to stop, yet they persist. These letters are propagandistic pandering, filled with trumped-up patriotism, be-agape rhetoric, Biden/Democrat bashing, "America Get-go" dogma.
Her objective is to feed Trump'due south base, to reinforce his lies, to delight Trump and become their check. As the head of the Republican Party, Trump continues to proclaim the election was rigged, stolen from him, that he'll gear up the WH in 2024.
Stefanik, Cruz, Hashemite kingdom of jordan, Kennedy, etc., volition back Trump every bit they go to the ballot box. They will decline to accept the Jan. 6 commission findings if information technology shows Trump tried to obstruct the election. I believe their fidelity to Trump, for whatever reason, is traitorous and self-serving. President Zelenskyy is the hope for Ukraine, me, too.

A sad moment in human being existence
Editor:
COVID, Russia'southward unprovoked state of war on Ukraine. Why is it humans dear drama? Putin is off the rails, a crazed madman bored with life, because he doesn't have ane. Sad really.
COVID, I don't care what variant is out there, my mask volition never come up off. Trust people that they take had all the shots to protect them and others? Non on my life or the life of my friends and family. This mask volition never come up off. Why? People prevarication, in government, in politics, in court, in almost anything to drag the punishment to themselves. Please. Humans love drama — it is the fire that gives them purpose, something they cannot produce for themselves, self-worth. Sad actually.
The world I would similar to alive in is one where people mind their own business, bargain with their own drama without involving others for no reason. By the manner that is called "bullying."
It is truly a sad moment in man existence when 1 has to feel better about themselves by taking someone else downwards, or intimidating them, 98% over jealousy. Do the math, I'1000 not wrong on this one, sociologically speaking.
Become a life, go a grip and move on. You lot are not that interesting. Here'south the kicker, neither am I, not in the least.
Got information technology?

Ukraine crunch is more than important
Editor:
Like well-nigh homeowners I received three requests last week past mail seeking donations for political candidates running for election in the fall.
The messages explained the importance of supporting ane party or the other with donations of $100, $200 or $300 to finance their campaigns. I receive probably xx-25 of these annually.
Would not it been much more meaningful if just 1 asked for funding to support the Ukrainian people in their fight against Russia?
Their continued bravery, resolve and sacrifices far overshadow our political campaigns that are based on how much each tin raise.
Our federal politicians likewise tin learn much from the Ukrainian president and others in his cabinet who are non fighting for money but rather their lives!

Biden, Putin and the power of faith
Editor:
Question: While President Biden is having Russia negotiate our nuclear agreement with Iran, why does President Biden not have Russia likewise negotiate the electric current squabble with Ukraine instead of sending millions of dollars to prolong the dispute?
Why is President Biden agape to offend President Putin but rather deny Ukraine the necessary equipment to defend its edge? Information technology is hard to exist a proud American while grandmothers and children are being slaughtered even if it is by a "friend."
Is nuclear state of war next?
Nosotros need to retrieve the words of the Lord, "Except those days be shortened at that place would be no flesh left, merely for the elect'due south sake, those days will be shortened."
Put your faith commencement when looking for your hereafter or making decisions that touch you.

Stefanik should object to evil
Editor:
In his recent address to Congress, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy reminded us, "I have a dream." Putin and Putin'due south boob, Deadbeat Donald, reminded us, "I am your worst nightmare."
Zelenskyy'southward video showed us a few of the many, many needless horrors Putin has inflicted on Ukraine. How can Deadbeat Donald and Trick News and Tucker Carlson alive with themselves? Dozens of children dead. Hundreds of civilians dead. Blown autonomously past Putin with the back up of Deadbeat Donald and his ilk. How evil must one be to purposely target hospitals, schools and civilian homes?
Here in the North State we have the sad misfortune to be represented (?) by Elise.
Anyone with the tummy for it tin look at Elise's weekly email diatribes. She does non hesitate to berate President Biden and other Democrats for by and large nonsensical reasons and to take credit for funding she tried to vote down. But taking Deadbeat Donald and his puppeteer Putin to chore? Radio silence!
Why does Elise so strongly support Deadbeat Donald? Is she happy to encounter all of the dead children? Does the death and destruction fifty-fifty bother her? Why doesn't she say anything? Does she besides think Putin is "smart" or "savvy" or "genius?" How morally decadent must one be to not even object to such evil?

Letter to the editor: Taxpayers want meeting access
Editor:
A concerned grouping of local residents has proposed TOBOR (Taxpayer Online Neb of Rights), possibly the commencement such county-level proposal in New York country. The TOBOR proposal requires that Warren County meetings, which are open up to the public, must also be livestreamed on Youtube.com and recorded there to let more taxpayers to participate and review them later.
YouTube is a gratuitous service. The TOBOR proposal is available to view on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/389416846375224, and two dissimilar Warren County meetings have already been identified every bit in violation of this common sense proposal to:
1.) Allow more than taxpayers to participate in canton government meetings remotely.
ii.) Salve taxpayer funds by reducing mileage reimbursement for county personnel to attend official meetings.
three.) Increase government transparency and taxpayer interest.

Letter to the editor: A thank you to Sail for helping
Editor:
A shout-out to SAIL (Southern Adirondack Independent Living). I recently had a total knee joint replacement and was helpless. Thanks to Canvass, located at 71 Glenwood Ave., Queensbury, they provided me with a walker, pikestaff and shower chair — everything I needed to manipulate.
What a wonderful organisation. The workers were nearly gracious, kind, and helpful. They expected nothing in return. I used the equipment several months and received the aforementioned upon returning the equipment. Thanks to you guys for all you do.

Letter to the editor: Meeting for Afghan family
Editor:
The Adirondack Welcome Circumvolve is overwhelmed with the generosity of this community! We've received budgetary donations allowing usa to secure an apartment for an Afghan family, comprehend rent, utilities, food and initial expenses. We appreciate the help of the Glens Falls Foundation, enabling donations to qualify equally tax deductible.
Many people take showed up to aid rehabilitate the apartment and get it gear up in fourth dimension. People from local churches, Rotary and Lions clubs, and Primal Club and Honor Lodge students from Glens Falls High Schoolhouse take put in hours of work. With the landlord who is working very hard on this equally well, we can offering these refugees a real abode hither.
People are already purchasing items from our Target wish list, and we will be able to fully equip the home with everything the family unit needs. Churches and other organizations have offered to purchase groups of items such equally everything needed for the bathroom or a kit of abode tools, etc. For a family unit arriving with nothing, nosotros are giving them what they need to get-go a new life due to this outpouring of beloved and back up.
Information technology "takes a village to raise a kid," and it takes our community to welcome people who come with nothing but hope for their time to come. Y'all've shown generosity, spirit and heart to people you don't even know yet. You're helping Afghans who helped Americans that they didn't know when they were in a strange land, and now nosotros pay information technology forrard.
Our deepest gratitude to everyone who is helping to welcome this family. Not only with money and goods, just in supporting them and beingness the welcoming customs each of usa knows and so well. How appropriate that this family unit will end upwardly in Hometown USA!

Letter to the editor: Misinformation sounds familiar
Editor:
On Sunday, many hundreds gathered in Glens Falls to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian brute assailment — hearing words of liberty and republic, the heroism and love of the Ukrainian people, the need to resist.
When I hear Putin naming all reality "fake news," silencing journalists who phone call military assailment "war," sentencing truth-tellers to xv years in prison house, arresting protesters, accusing Ukrainians of doing exactly what Russian war machine power is doing — invading, killing innocent people, threatening chemical warfare — I remember how propaganda silencing truth actually "works."
Drastic people in Ukraine calling parents in Russia hear their parents parrot Russia's false news, not assertive their own children despite cries, pleas, photographs of terrible destruction. I call up: how could y'all non believe your children? And I think: how could we not think of parallels hither, not as dire but following the aforementioned script of disinformation used by those wanting power?
In every battleground land, Republicans continually proclaim Trump won, the election stolen, despite all testify — the truthful words of Republican and Autonomous ballot officials, the continual auditing showing the election off-white, sixty court decisions rejecting Republican claims.
Accusing the Democrats of the nonexistent election fraud, Republican country legislatures pass countless laws to suppress voting rights, actively supporting secretaries of state and all candidates swearing fidelity to Trump's lies. I am horrified at Republicans' violent threats against those daring to speak reality — governors, election officials, Autonomous and Republican voters — their threats cheered. Not all, but many Republicans — including our Stefanik — practice not condemn lies and violence, remain silent.
A Russian authorities agency told outlets to use the words of "Tucker Carlson, who sharply criticizes the deportment of the U.Due south. and NATO and their negative role in unleashing the conflict in Ukraine."
Who are our unsafe voices spreading disinformation, suppressing truth, rousing violence? And who amongst us cheer them or remain silent?

Letter to the editor: 5 years of lying continues
Editor:
Wow, bang-up story. The teacher that taught in the Ukraine. I almost barbarous off of the toilet. What hard-hitting, factual news. Oh, wait. That's information technology, isn't it. If you impress this mindless gunk that nobody cares about, you don't need to impress the actual news, like mayhap, permit'south see the Republican rebuttal to your boob Joey's Country of the Union fake oral communication that no one paid the to the lowest degree bit of attention to.
Five years of lying continues. All the lies and the idiot picture of the 3 stooges you plastered on your publication. (Since you never go my sarcasm, I'll explain this to you: Harris (Giggles), Pelosi (the drunken freak show) and your buddy, sleepy-eyed lying Joe!
Just can't help being the laughing stock of the North State.

Alphabetic character to the editor: Kutcher donation is publicity stunt
Editor:
Merely read this on CNN:
"Proud Ukrainian" Mila Kunis and her husband, Ashton Kutcher, have pledged to match up to $3 million in donations to aid refugees fleeing her native country among the conflict with Russia.
Apologies, but Ashton Kutcher's cyberspace worth is about $200 million. His offer to friction match "up to" $3 million is not only ridiculous, it is overwhelmingly insulting.
Why? Because he is a celebrity, asking the blue-collars of the world to surrender their hard-earned money — which, of course, has suffered enough hardship the last 2 years over COVID, rising food costs and gas. These are issues Mr. Kutcher volition never have to worry almost.
It's plainly a pathetic, cruel thing to do for publicity.

Letter to the editor: A different view of history offered
Editor:
I can only guess the "history" book a recent letter writer read was either written past the DNC or was establish in the graphic comics section of the library. Permit'due south review:
In 2009, then-President Obama gave Russian federation that famous ruby button for the now infamous reset. He pulled the carpeting out from nether the Poles and Czechs and canceled the missile defense program. Previous to this, Obama stood by as the Russians bombed Aleppo. We should also call back that famous Blood-red Line drawn in the sand with invisible ink.
In 2022, the Russians again acted. They attacked Ukraine's Crimea. The Obama-Biden response was to ship blankets. They delayed lethal aid until it was clear Russian federation had achieved its objectives.
Hither we are again. Russia again invading Ukraine under yet some other feckless administration. Additionally, in merely 14 months of Biden we are free energy dependent, accept runaway inflation, a North Korea over again testing WMDs, a southern border that is little more than a sieve and a foreign policy that in one case once more revolves around globalism at a direct cost to America.
Nether Trump ... no new Russian incursion in Ukraine or elsewhere. A response in Syria when Putin gassed people. Nord Stream sanction.
No, I exercise not want Biden to plant price controls. I do want Mr. Biden to follow the science regarding oil. He obviously believes strange imported oil has less of a carbon footprint than Due north American oil. How else do we explain the clamp on Keystone, the irksome walking of leases and permits, restrictions on LNG terminals, and the pestering of fiscal markets to restrict investment.
Finally, the major price gouging in the free energy sector comes from government skimming via property, excise, sales, income, and numerous other fees far more than money than the producers who take run a risk.

Alphabetic character to the editor: A peacetime draft is needed at present
Editor:
With all that is going on in our world, COVID-19 and related issues, the runaway high prices on everything, the unrest with our government and its leaders, that'south enough for now.
We have to starting time a peacetime draft for our military. We take to offset this typhoon now so the residue of the world knows we have the almost powerful and advanced military in the world. With this done it will help us keep the peace. We besides need a few of the largest countries in the world to be our friend. This will also help to go on the peace. Hopefully this will do information technology for us. A typhoon will also train a lot of immature men and women in many areas to help them with some kind of work on the exterior earth. This draft should be for 2 years of service then let become. Some of those people may desire to stay in. Allow's get it started now. God bless America.
